Caleb Anthony Wheeler

Caleb Anthony Wheeler was born August 12, 2009 in Montgomery, Alabama. He was outspoken, energetic, and talkative. Caleb enjoyed playing video games and spending time with family and friends.
Caleb was diagnosed with stage IV renal medullary carcinoma (RMC) in December of 2018 at the age of 9. Immediately after diagnosis, his right kidney was removed. His treatment consisted of multiple rounds of chemotherapy and countless blood transfusions. In September of 2019, Caleb went into remission. Unfortunately, In April of 2021, we received the devastating news that Caleb’s cancer had returned. Our Angel earned his wings on September 28, 2021.
He is survived by: his mother Jalana Wheeler; grandmother, Cynthia Wheeler; grandfather, Bruce Blackshear; great grandmother, Corrie Shepherd; great uncles, Darrly Wheeler and Charles Wheeler; uncles: Renaldo, Wheeler, Jory Wheeler, and Trekyle Wheeler; auntie, Tia Wheeler; cousins: Raegan, Nia, Ava, Kylee, Harmoni, Amonei, Zykiara Desiree, Kenli, and Joiniya; and a host of other family and friends.
