Highlights from Chris “CJ” Johnson Foundation’s Keepin’ It Renal Run/Walk

On March 22, 2025, an Unstoppable Force came together from around the world for the 12th Annual Keepin’ It Renal Run/Walk to raise awareness for renal medullary carcinoma (RMC). This powerful gathering provided an opportunity to connect with RMC warriors, honor the families who have lost loved ones, and hear the latest updates from world-renowned physicians, Dr. Nizar Tannir and Dr. Pavlos Msaouel.
A highlight of the day was a heartfelt presentation by our president, Ritchie Johnson to her mother, Juanita Walker-Allen, who at 99 years old has faithfully supported this cause and only missed one event during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
This year’s run/walk once again showed the strength of community, advocacy, and hope. We look forward to continuing this momentum at our 13th Annual Keepin’ It Renal Run/Walk next year.
