Chris Johnson Foundation 10th Anniversary and CJ’s 50th Heavenly Birthday Celebration

Thank you to all who made our 10th Anniversary and CJ’s 50th Heavenly birthday celebration such an exciting and meaningful success. The event was held at Pelazzio’s Event Venue in Houston, Texas. Approximately 106 guest walked the red carpet prior to entering the beautifully decorated ballroom. The evening started with a meet & greet hour with hors d’oeuvres and then a delicious dinner with open bar. Gabrielle Hayward-Johnson, CJ’s daughter shared with the audience the 10 year history of the foundation and Marc Johnson II shared the story of his uncle Chris, the man behind the RMC movement. Dr. Pavlos Msaouel gave an update on RMC. He predicted that RMC will be completely eradicated by 2040. Charissa Moran from Wayne, New Jersey and Andre’ Snead from Tuscaloosa, Alabama shared their heart warming story of their journey with RMC and how the Chris Johnson Foundation assisted in making their journey easier. Marc Johnson, Chris’ older brother led the toast to CJ in Heaven and Angela Gooden sung happy birthday. A special thank you to Eric Johnson Jr. for the prayer, LaShawnda Johnson for the welcome speech, our DJ, Roland Jones, Angela Hawks-Johnson who was instrumental in choosing the perfect colors for our event and last but not least, James Hamilton, Jone’ Dean-Heard and Jason Heard for assisting in setting up the venue.
Ritchie, the President and founder of the Chris “CJ” Johnson Foundation stated, ” it was something that I felt that I should do in memory of my youngest son. This was just as I expected it to me…a memorable night of excellence.”
