Our First Scholarship Recipient- Divinshia Jackson

The Chris CJ Johnson Foundation Inc. is proud to announce Divinshia Jackson as the first recipient of a $500.00 scholarship. Divinshia was inducted into the National Honor Society in December 2015 and is a 2016 graduate of BF Terry High School.
As a young girl, Divinshia had the passion of wanting to help people and has always wanted to be a part of the medical world. She praises her parents, Don and Sharlene for instilling positive values and being supportive of her throughout the years. She believes that God placed her on this earth to do great things and she plans to do just that.
In the fall of this year, Divinshia will be attending Texas State University to become a Nurse Practitioner. Divinshia states that her heart is full of all the blessings that she has received and is beyond thankful for each and every single one of them. She is excited to start this new journey in her life with God by her side. Please keep Divinshia lifted in prayer as she pursues her career in the medical field.
Chris would be so happy with this decision. He was an advocate of higher education and the University of choice is where he started out. Our Foundation continues to give back to the community and it is because of our supporters that we are able to do this.
