Carrin Stewart Davis

Carrin Agusta Stewart Davis was born November 19, 1975, in Houston, Texas. Carrin and her brother, Louie, grew up in a loving home with their parents.

Carrin graduated from Lamar High School and followed in her mother’s footsteps and attended Hampton University earning a business degree. She later continued her education, earning a Master’s of Science Degree in Human Resources from Houston Christian University, formerly known as Houston Baptist University.

Years later, she met the love of her life, Irvin “Jesus” Davis and was married in 2007. Four years later, a suprise was waiting for Jesus when he arrived home. A plant with a note sitting on the table, “Daddy, see you in 8 months. Eight months later, the light of their lives was born, Blair. She was the first in Carrin’s life. Together they baked, cooked, made after school trips to the park and secret shopping trips.

Carrin could be described as loving, gentle, and kind; always thinking of the needs of others and seeing the good, even in their mistakes. She could also be described as a fighter. Carrin was diagnosed with renal medullary carcinoma (RMC), and given a life expectancy of 3-6 months, but with her strength and determination, she was able to add an additional five years before going home to be with the Lord on August 7,2023.

To cherish her memory, Carrin is survived by her husband, mother, brother, her daughter, her stepson, niece, a host of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
