Eraina L. Scott

Eraina L. Scott gained her angel wings on December 9, 2021. She was born on August 27, 1968. She transformed home to be with her parents Dorothy Williams and Barry Pearson. Eraina is survived by her dad, James “Sonny” Williams who raised her. Eraina is a long-time resident of Maryland, where she resided with her daughters. She worked as a Security Guard at J.W. Marriott for 23+ years. She poured her heart and soul into her work and her co-workers absolutely admired her.

Eraina was talented in so many tangible aspects of her life. She was a genius, and she loved the Lord. Eraina touched the lives of many people and made it a point to make all encounters feel important and special. She showed up when it mattered, had your back, gave to those in need, and would defend her loved ones should the need arise.

Eraina enjoyed playing games on her phone, cuddling on the couch watching movies and she loved to eat. Her favorite saying about food was “Let me taste that” or whisper when she did not want to share “Y’all want some; ok good,” Most importantly she was a terrific mom, her children were her life. There was never a day that she didn’t brag about her four Queens.

Eraina is survived by her four daughters, Aysha, Alexis, Angel, and Amani, her siblings, Vanessa, and James, her nieces, La’Daja, Parris, Kodi, Kori Ivy, Shante’, Syria, A’Jurney, Kimbra, and Kailyn, her nephews, Jamal, Tobias, Dylan, Damian, and Deandre, her grandson, Asa, her cousins, Joanna, Octavia, Tony, Robbie, Gerald, and Richard, aunts and uncles as well as her close friends Denise, Karen, Regina and her co-workers.

We celebrate and honor her with her favorite word “Victory.”
