Micah D. Wade

Micah Wade was born on February 28, 2001, to Milton and Monique Wade in Patterson, New Jersey. He transitioned on September 25, 2021, due to complications of renal medullary carcinoma (RMC).

Micah attended O.I.P.H. Middle School and graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 2019. Prior to his diagnosis, Micah was enrolled at State College of Florida, majoring in Graphic Arts.

Micah was a talented young artist with a courageous heart filled with so much love.  He was a multifaceted intellectual who came to have many interests. He was an avid reader who loved learning different languages. He enjoyed many athletics such as cycling, archery, basketball, and weightlifting. Micah was an animal lover who helped any in need without hesitation. He loved to cook and try out new recipes he discovered on the internet. He enjoyed exploring the city and capturing the beauty of the world and his loved ones through the lenses of his phone. Lastly, he loved and valued all the time spent with his family and friends.

Micah leaves to cherish his memories his parents Milton and Monique Wade; his brother Jaloni Heard; His sister Jada Wade; his grandparents, William and Georgia Johnson; his aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as friends whom he loved dearly.
